The more the spring tightens, the better the sealing effect. Originally, excessive tightening of the spring can lead to severe wear and instant erosion in conflicts; Excessive tightening can cause the spring to lose its ability to adjust the ring port, resulting in ineffective sealing.

2. The tighter the sealing diagram of the moving ring, the better. The sealing ring of the original moving ring is too tight, which is harmful and not beneficial. One is to aggravate the damage between the sealing ring and the shaft sleeve, causing premature leakage; The second is to increase the radial adjustment and motion resistance of the dynamic ring, which cannot be adjusted when the working conditions are constantly changing; Thirdly, the spring is too tired and prone to damage; The fourth issue is the deformation of the dynamic sealing ring, which endangers the sealing effect.

3. The tighter the static ring seal, the better. The static ring seal root is in a terminated state, and the sealing effect will be relatively tight, but being too tight is also harmful. One is that the static ring seal changes too much, which endangers the sealing effect; The second reason is that the raw material for static rings is mostly graphite, which is generally brittle and can easily break under excessive force; The third issue is the difficulty in disassembling the equipment, which can easily damage the stationary ring.

4. The tighter the impeller lock nut, the better. During the process of mechanical seal leakage, leakage between the shaft sleeve and the shaft (shaft to shaft leakage) is quite common. It is generally believed that inter shaft leakage refers to the failure of the impeller lock nut to tighten, which can be caused by many factors such as ineffective inter shaft pads, misalignment, residual inter shaft, large misalignment and leakage at the fit between the shaft and the shaft sleeve, damaged contact surfaces, large clearances between various parts of the shaft, and excessively long shaft head screws. Excessive locking of the locking nut will only result in premature invalidation of the shaft pad. On the contrary, lock the locking nut appropriately to maintain a certain degree of tightening elasticity between the shaft pads. During the operation, the locking nut will actively tighten, ensuring that the shaft is always in a good sealing state.

5. The new is better than the old. Relatively speaking, the application effect of the new machine seal is better than that of the old one, but improper quality or raw material selection of the new machine seal, incorrect cooperation size, and leakage can affect the sealing effect; In polymers and permeable media, if the static ring is not damaged too much, it should not be replaced. Due to the long-term termination of the stationary ring in the stationary ring seat, the accumulation of polymers and impurities has played a good sealing role.

Dismantling and repairing are far better than not dismantling at all. Once the seal of the display machine leaks, it is urgent to disassemble and repair it. Sometimes the seal is not damaged. Only by adjusting the working conditions or adjusting the seal appropriately can the leakage be cleared.
