Precautions for disassembly and assembly of containerized mechanical seals?

Container mechanical seal refers to a device composed of at least one pair of ports perpendicular to the axis of rotation and their auxiliary seals, under the influence of fluid pressure and compensating tissue elasticity (or magnetism), to prevent liquid leakage. It not only has high accuracy, but also has unique materials. Therefore, installation and disassembly must be carried out according to the correct steps:

Before installation, it is necessary to strictly inspect the components for cracks and other damages, and check whether the spray paint layer inside the torsion spring has peeled off.

2. Strictly inspect the protruding surfaces of the dynamic and static rings for scratches and bumps. During installation, apply a layer of clean oil or turbine oil on the protruding surface.

During all installation processes, components should not be cleaned with unclean cloth or cotton yarn, especially protruding surfaces, which should be cleaned with soft sandpaper and degreased cotton.

When adjusting the seal, pay attention to the compression of the spring, and refer to the product manual for the standard value. When moving the ring, do not "move" the inclined sealing ring inside the O-ring. The allowable leakage rate is around 5 drops per minute.

5. During installation, great attention should be paid to preventing parts from tilting, and the fixing screws of the spring seat should be tightened evenly.

Be careful when disassembling and assembling, especially plastic products. Do not pry with tools such as hammers or flat shovels to avoid damaging the moving, stationary, and sealing rings. If there are stains that cannot be removed, it cannot be forced to proceed. First, clean it thoroughly, and then gradually disassemble it.

7. When disassembling and assembling, do not rush to achieve results. Observe first, pay attention at all times during the disassembly process, and even make marks for easy cleaning and proper assembly.
